Son of Pierre Desjardins and Joséphine Lefebvre, of Terrebonne, Québec.
At Neuville-Vitasse, on 8 June 1918, during a daring enemy raid on the battalion’s front lines, he was severely wounded to the legs and a wrist by shrapnel. He was evacuated to the 2/1st London Field Ambulance, then located in Arras, where he died the next day.
