War Diary – This page from the war diary of the 3rd Bn Canadian Machine Gun Corps explains how on Sept 24th, 1918 while in camp the unit was bombed by an "aeroplane" and 35 O.R. (other ranks) were killed and 35 wounded. Hugh "Harold" Wilson was one of the 35 killed just 6 weeks before the war ended.
