Just after the Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians) departed for Germany in 1965, they presented a stained glass window in Saint George’s Chapel at Currie Barracks, Calgary, Alberta. It was presented on the Regiment's behalf by Major J. Bell on 5 December 1965 and dedicated by the Chapel Chaplain, Major H.H. Johnson. The window depicts their regimental badge and a portrait of Saint George.

Saint George’s Chapel remained active for a short period after the Calgary Base closed in 1996. The stained glass window was moved to the Edmonton Garrison Chapel of Saint Luke & Saint John in 1997.

The Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians) Second World War Honour Roll was presented to the Officers’ Mess Lord Strathcona’s Horse (C) by Lieutenants J.R.R. Boulanger and D.L. Dunn on 17 March 1955. It lists the names of those killed during the Second World War while serving as Strathcona's. 

In 1925, the officers of the Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians) presented a centerpiece to the Officers' Mess as a memorial to the officers killed in the First World War. It consists of a silver statuette of a Strathcona in ceremonial dress mounted on a horse. 

This Centurion tank acts as a memorial to all of the Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians). It was located in Strathcona Field at Sarcee Barracks in Calgary, Alberta and dedicated by Colonel Commandant, Major-General F.F. Worthington, CB, MC, MM, CD, during the 1965 Moreuil Wood ceremonies. The tank remained in Strathcona Field until 1996 when it was moved to Edmonton with the Regiment.

This Centurion tank was located at the front entrance of Harvey Barracks in Calgary, Alberta with the Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians) Memorial. It was moved to its current position in 1996 and is currently used to note the presence of the Commanding Officer in regimental lines as indicated when the Commanding Officer’s pennant is flying from one of the tank’s antennas. 

The Brigadier F.M.W. Harvey Building officially opened on 20 October 1996 on the occasion of the move of Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians) from Calgary to Edmonton. Frederick Maurice Watson Harvey earned the Victoria Cross for his conduct on 27 March 1917 in an attack on the village of Guyencourt in France. Harvey later received the Military Cross for his part in the Strathconas charge against German positions near Moreuil Wood on 30 March 1918. The French Government also granted him the Croix de Guerre.

The stone cairn in front of the building has a special connection to all First World War soldiers who trained at Camp Sarcee in Calgary, Alberta. It was constructed from stones which were placed on the side of Signal Hill by soldiers during the First World War to form replicas of their unit badges. The cairn was originally erected by the Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians) Regimental Association at the front entrance to Harvey Barracks in Calgary on 11 November 1984. It was dedicated in the presence of the Colonel of the Regiment, Major-General P.A. Neatby, CD.

This three-foot high memorial, in the shape of a rough-cut grave marker, was initially placed in Strathcona Field at Sarcee Barracks in Calgary, Alberta on 11 November 1977. It was dedicated to all the fallen of the Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians) and became a central part in their Remembrance Day ceremonies. The memorial was moved to its current location in 1999.

A large brass plaque was dedicated to the memory of Trooper Reginald James Wiley who was killed on 7 September 1961 while serving with the Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians) in Egypt.

Drop Zone Buxton was named in honour of Chief Warrant Officer Richard George Buxton who was killed in a freefall parachute descent on this drop zone on 30 July 1971. A cairn was erected at the Buxton Drop Zone in May 1973.

First Battalion Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (1 PPCLI) building #403 is named after former Colonel of the Regiment, Major-General George Grenville Brown, CD. It was officially opened on 17 October 1997. George was born on 17 June 1922 at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and later attended Royal Military College, Kingston, from 1940 to 1942. He was commissioned in the Seaforth Highlanders and served in Canada, the United Kingdom and North Africa. In 1943, he joined the Loyal Edmonton Regiment in Italy. He was wounded in 1944 and rejoined the Seaforth Highlanders in April 1945 in Holland.

In 1946, he was transferred to Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI) and served with the 2nd Battalion in Germany. Promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in 1962, he commanded the 1 PPCLI in Victoria and Germany until 1965. George was promoted to Colonel and Chief of Infantry at Mobile Command headquarters in 1966. He was promoted to Brigadier-General in 1970 and appointed Chief of Staff for Operations, Mobile Command.

From 1972 – 74 Brigadier-General Brown was Commander 1 Combat Group, in Calgary. In 1974, he was promoted to Major-General and appointed Chief of Land Operations at National Defence Headquarters, and in 1975 he was appointed Deputy Commander, Mobile Command. Major-General Brown retired from the Army in 1977, and served a six-year honorary term with the PPCLI as Colonel of the Regiment. In 1983, he became Vice-Patron of the PPCLI Association. He died on 14 March, 1995.
