Erected by the Ladies' Auxiliary of Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 210, this memorial is dedicated to the local veterans of the South African War, the First and Second World Wars and the Korean War.

This memorial wall was erected by Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 149 in honour of the local war dead.

This memorial is dedicated to those who served their country and was erected by Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 280.

This memorial was erected by Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 123 and is dedicated to the men and women of the Canadian military who died while in service. It was constructed in 1967 in memory of The Canadian Armed Forces who lost their lives in defense of their Country. The memorial was made of cement and stuccoed with a metal cross located on the top of the Cenotaph. In September, 1990, the memorial was refaced using quartizite and tinole stone. The corners, base, and cross were reinforced with cement. The 90MM anti-aircraft gun was obtained in 1967 from the west coast. The gun was mounted on a cement base. Wreaths are laid by the memorial each November 11th.

On June 13, 1992, the Bassano Cenotaph was dedicated by Reverend Gil Arthur of Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 10 in Strathmore. The rock was excavated years ago on the north side of the Bow River by Peter Burrows and Arnold Armstrong. It was hauled to Bassano and offered to the Agriculture Society for a weight guessing contest at the Fall Fair. When the contest did not happen, the rock was set down by a shop at Fourth Street and Second Avenue. The Library Board obtained the rock when the shop was demolished and it was set it down in the small park next to the library by Bob Havens.

The Bassano Memorial Library was opened on June 23, 1984 and dedicated to those from the area that served in the Boer War, First World War, Second World War and Korean War.
