In September 1995, 104 cadets assembled at Battalion Park to pay homage to their forefathers who fought for Canada in the 1914-18 World War. They came to paint the 20,000 stones marking the battalion numbers placed on the hillside in 1915 & 16 by the young soldiers.

The largest part of this memorial consists of four large sets of numbers made up of more than 20,000 stones painted white to form the numbers "51", "113", "137" and "151". These refer to the locally-raised 51st, 113th, 137th and 151st Canadian Infantry Battalions of the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. The rock formations were initially created by soldiers in camp in the area during 1915 and 1916 and were restored in September 1995 by local cadets. The two cairns bear plaques detailing the history of the memorial, the four battalions, and rock formations.

The Royal Canadian Navy Korean War Memorial was unveiled on 25 June 2000 by the Lieutenant-Governor of Alberta Lois Hole and the Chief of the Maritime Staff Vice Admiral Greg Maddison. It was dedicated to 3,600 sailors who served in the Korean War and in memory of the nine sailors who lost their lives.

Three men died when HMCS Iroquois was fired on and the others perished in accidents at sea. Able Seaman Robin Skavberg of Calgary was swept overboard at night during a snow squall off the Korean coast on 27 November 1951. The crew turned on all of HMCS Athabaskan's searchlights in their search for Robin even though it made them a target for the gun batteries on the Korean Coast. They couldn't find him. Fred Fowlow, who served on the Athabaskan with Robin, spent four years helping raise money for the memorial. Fred and Robin's family were at the unveiling.

The memorial was designed by Authentic Design and erected by the Naval Museum of Alberta Society and the Calgary naval community at 1820-24 Street SW, the HMCS Tecumseh base. In 2008 the memorial was moved to The Military Museums because the Naval Museum of Alberta had relocated to that site. Padre Don McMahon led a rededication ceremony with an honour guard of Calgary Naval Veterans of the Korean War.

This Honour Roll commemorates Mount Royal College students, faculty, and staff who served in the First World War. It was displayed in a prominent place in the old Mount Royal College campus in downtown Calgary before it was moved to Mount Royal University Library's Archives and Special Collections. This style of an Honour Roll was designed by A.J. Casson when he worked at Sampson-Matthews, a prominent midtown Toronto lithography and commercial art company.
