80^th Anniversary: WWII D-Day, June 6, 1944, North Shore (NB) Regiment

Students from JAMES M. HILL MEMORIAL SCHOOL (NB) will honour our veterans from the North Shore (NB) Regiment who participated in D-Day on the beaches of Normany the morning of June 6, 1944.

The North Shore Regiment consisted of sturdy farmers, fishermen, Lumber cutters, and mill hands, who were ideal infantry soldiers.
