Miraumont is a village about 14.5 kilometres north-north-east of Albert and the Cemetery is some 3 kilometres south of the village on the east side of the road to Courcelette (D107). The ADANAC MILITARY CEMETERY is signposted in the centre of Miraumont.

  • Photo of Alphonse Hamelin– From "Our Heroes in The Great World War", compiled by J. H. De Wolfe, Patriotic Publishing Co., Ottawa, Ontario, 1919.  Hamelin's name was entered incorrectly in this book as he signed his name "Alphonse Hamelin" on his attestation which he completed on Nov. 16, 1915 in Ottawa.  He was born in March Corners, Ontario, and had belonged to the Aylmer Cadets for 3 years prior to the war.  He listed his occupation as student.
