Memorial – Ex-cadets are named on the Memorial Arch at the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, Ontario. 2803 Lt Joseph-Maurice Rousseau (RMC 1940) CIC was born in Montreal 16 February 1919, the son of J. M. A. L. and Gabrielle Fafard Rousseau, of Montreal, Quebec. He was the husband of Agnes Hornby Rousseau, of Montreal. He served with the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion, R.C.I.C. He died on Sep 20, 1944 while on secret operations in enemy occupied Igney, Alsace-Lorraine. He was buried in the Ranville War Cemetery in Calvados, France.
