The Beach Head War Cemetery lies 5 kilometres north of the coastal town of Anzio about 70 kilometres south of Rome. The route is well sign-posted and the CWGC signs are visible 150 metres from the cemetery. There is a small parking area at the main entrance. The cemetery is permanently open and may be visited outside the working hours of the local gardening staff.
