  • Photo of Donald Robert Kelly– Kelly, Donald Robert - Flight Sergeant. Born 11th August, 1921, at Richmond, Que. Educated at St. Francis College High School, Richmond, Que.  Entered the service of the Bank 13th September, 1939. Served at Richmond and Windsor, Que. Enlisted 13th July, 1940, from the latter branch in R.C.A.F. Sergeant Air Gunner in November, 1942 Flight Sergeant 25th March, 1943.  Trained at Montreal, and Jarvis, Ont. Overseas in November, 1942. Served with Fox Squadron. Shot down a Junkers 88 in attack on Wuppertal in May, 1943. Member of Caterpillar Club.  Killed on active service 12th June, 1943. Buried at Ripon, England.  From a memorial booklet prepared by the Canadian Bank of Commerce.
