  • Photo of Howard Talbott– Photo undated, taken by Central Studio, Manila (Philippines). This photo together with his World War I bronze memorial death plaque was purchased from an elderly distant relative, by marriage, in Portland Oregon c. 1995. Her name was Mrs. John (Margaret) Clemmitt of 12445 SW 34th Ave. By an unexplained error, the British death plaque wrongly bears the name Edward Ross Talbott. Howard Ross Talbott did have a younger brother Edward (middle name unknown), who apparently did not serve, and lived for many years after the War.
