Son of Willard King Treleaven and Laura Louise Treleaven; husband of Williamina Ruby Treleaven, of Glasgow. He received a B.A. from the University of Manitoba. The Province of Manitoba named Lake Treleaven in honour of Flight Lieutenant Treleaven. Three generations of the Treleaven family travelled to Northern Manitoba and placed a plaque at the Lake.

Location:

Amersfoort is a town lying 50 kilometres south-east of Amsterdam, and 22 kilometres north-east of Utrecht. The Amersfoort (Oud Leusden) General Cemetery is about 2.5 kilometres from the railway station, in an area known as Oud Leusden. The graves are in a special plot, well sited among trees.

  • Treleaven Lake– Three generations of the Treleaven family erected the above plaque in honour and loving memory of Errol W.H. Treleaven on September 6, 2000 at Lake Treleaven in Northern Manitoba.
