Brother of Corporal Leonard Gordon Davies, who died on April 9, 1945, while serving with the 14th Canadian Hussars. Brother-in-law of Pilot Officer Hugh Alexander Adams, who died on July 29, 1944, while serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force.
