Carnoy is a village just north of the road, D938, from Albert to Peronne, about 10 kilometres east-south-east of Albert. The CARNOY MILITARY CEMETERY is on the south side of the village, on the north side of the road to Maricourt.

Photo of Rowland John Beck – 92886 Rowland Beck (right) pictured while in training in Canada, alongside Edward Robinson. Beck was five foot two inches tall, while Robinson was 6 foot 5 inches. Both served in the 2nd Canadian Siege Battery of the Canadian Garrison Artillery in France. -
