Son of John J. Lambert of Colgate, Saskatchewan, and the late Etta Winola Wheeler Lambert. Brother of Private Thomas Franklin Lambert, who died on February 13, 1916, while serving with the Canadian Infantry (Central Ontario Regiment) and Private Bertram Arthur Lambert, who died on April 9, 1917, while serving with the Canadian Infantry (Saskatchewan Regiment).

Letter from F. B. Lambert – My Great uncle Francis Bacon Lambert wrote this letter while on the battle field near Vimy, France the day before he died. I am here today on the account of his actions and the actions and beliefs of many like him. Rest in peace uncle, you are not forgotten. -
