Son of John J. Lambert of Colgate, Saskatchewan, and the late Etta Winola Wheeler Lambert. Brother of Private Thomas Franklin Lambert, who died on February 13, 1916, while serving with the Canadian Infantry (Central Ontario Regiment) and Private Bertram Arthur Lambert, who died on April 9, 1917, while serving with the Canadian Infantry (Saskatchewan Regiment).
