Born 2 September 1898 in Murikirk, Ontario. Son of Mrs. James A. Taylor, Muirkirk, Ontario. Served on the H.M.S. Niobe from 22 December 1916 to 8 January 1917 and on the H.M.S. Victory from 9 Jan 1917 to his death. He enlisted on 22 December 1916. In civilian life, he was employed as a tinsmith and plumber.

Location:

Gosport is a town in Hampshire on the west side of Portsmouth Harbour. HASLAR ROYAL NAVAL CEMETERY is attached to Haslar Royal Hospital and was used during the whole of the two world wars. The main entrance is in Clayhall Road. It is regretted that it is not possible to keep the cemetery register in this box at all times. Assistance may be obtained from the cemetery staff during normal working hours, or from the resident caretaker.
