VILLERS-EN-PRAYERES COMMUNAL CEMETERY
Aisne, France
C. I.
Villers-en-Prayeres is a village in the Department of the Aisne. The Communal Cemetery is located on the south side of the village and stands on its own with the CWGC Plot located to the rear of the cemetery. Villers-en-Prayeres can be reached from the direction of Bourg-en-Comin on the D967. About 1 kilometre after leaving Bourg-en-Comin, turn left at a road junction onto the D22, following the sign for Villers-en-Prayeres. On entering the village, take the last right turn before leaving the village, next to the war memorial on Rue Des Marronniers, after which the cemetery is visible on the right side of the road. There were two Main Dressing Stations posted at Villers-en-Prayeres in September, 1914. There are now over 30 First World War casualties commemorated in this site.
