Memorial Arch – Pro Deo Et Patria Erected by the Royal Military College Club of Canada Anno Domini 1923. Ex-cadets are named on the Memorial Arch at the Royal Military College of Canada. 1155 Lieut John Herbert Higginson (RMC 1915) was the son of John Fernie and Elizabeth Higginson, of Buckingham, Quebec. He served with the Royal Horse Artillery, 5th Brigade. He died on Nov 30, 1917. He was buried in the Flesquieres Hill British Cemetery, Nord, France.
