Charles enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on Nov. 4th 1918 listing his occupation as "Wood Worker" He died during the Spanish flu panademic of 1918-19 on Dec. 9th 1918 at the age of 35. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemtery of Vancouver BC.
