Son of William and Theresa Wilkinson, of Toronto, Ontario.

His brothers served during the First World War. John died on August 29, 1918 while serving with the Canadian Railway Troops and William died on February 6, 1919 while serving with the Canadian Infantry (Central Ontario Regiment).

Location:

Barlin is a village about 11 kilometres south-west of Bethune on the D188, between the Bethune-Arras and Bethune-St. Pol roads, about 6.5 kilometres south-east of Bruay. The BARLIN COMMUNAL CEMETERY and EXTENSION lie to the north of the village on the D171 road to Houchin.

Reuben Wilkinson, 413097, 26th Battalion (New Brunswick), died on April 17, 1917. Sapper John Wilkinson, 2499683, Canadian Railway Troops, died on August 29, 1918. Pte.
