  • Photo of Arthur Samuel Cosburn– He was killed in action at Vimy Ridge, when an incoming artillary shell exploded while he was up on the observation lookout. His military issue Bible is pierced with shrapnel holes and was handed down thru the family. The bear hide he is pictured wearing was padding for the bass drum he played in the battalion bugle band.
