Son of Sylvain Davis Armeneau and Lorna Doyle from Vancouver, British Columbia. Brother of Jane Anne Armeneau.

On 31 August 1964, during an exercise at Camp Valcartier, north of Quebec City, a grenade exploded in his right hand. He was seriously injured and died in hospital in Ste-Foy on 2 September.
