A Lancaster Cairn Ceremony will be held at Base Comox Air Park on 1 June 2008 to honour the 7 crewmembers who lost their lives when Lancaster KB940 crashed at Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Station Comox on 24 November 1952.

Family members from across Canada as well as members of the 407 Squadron, VIP and the press are invited to the ceremony.
