Medal of Military Valour (Posthumous) "On 3 August 2006, while exposed to intense enemy fire in Afghanistan, Cpl Keller demonstrated courage and leadership in order to allow his comrades to attend to a critically wounded soldier. Sadly, Cpl Keller made the ultimate sacrifice that day, but his selfless actions contributed to saving lives and enabled his platoon to hold vital terrain until reinforcements arrived." Sacrifice Medal (Posthumous)

Son of Mel and Helen Keller. Brother of Brad and Scott. Husband of Cpl Sarah(nee Barlett)Keller. He joined the reserves in 1997 and, while on a course in Kingston, Ont., in 1998, he met his wife, Sarah. He moved to Sherwood Park, where the couple later married and built a life together.
