This memorial, a Sherman tank, was erected by the Sherbrooke Fusilier Regiment in honour of those who were killed with and those who served the regiment during the Second World War. Another plaque was added on 21 September 1991 to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the Armoured Corps and the 125th anniversary of the founding of the Sherbrooke Hussars.

Note: The Sherman tank "Bomb" has been moved to the lawns of the William Street Armoury, at 315 William Street.
