Hugh Kington Llewelyn Statham was born in Cheddar, Somerset, England. He enlisted with the First Canadian Contingent at Valcartier Camp, Quebec, in September 1914. In honoured memory.

2nd Lt. Hugh Kington Llewellyn Statham, husband of Margaret Renee (nee Heneage) and father of Hugh Henry Llewellyn and Margaret Joan Statham. At the time of his death his wife and children were residing on Thetis Island, BC with Major Alfred Rene Heneage (ret.)Following his death they made Canada their permanent home. He was the son of Rev. S.P.H Statham and Meta (nee Gill) who served as a Chaplain to the British armed forces and was also a noted historian who counted the History of Dover among his written historical works.

CIMETIÈRE MILITAIRE DE COXYDE Belgique
Le cimetière militaire de Coxyde se trouve à un kilomètre au-delà du village de Koksijde sur la route N396 en direction de De Panne. À partir de Koksijde Dorp, la route Houtsaegerlaan (N396) traverse la Zeelaan et devient Robert Vandammestraat (N369). Le cimetière est situé du côté droit de la route, à un kilomètre plus loin.
