The fighting had moved up towards Caen, a French town which is well known in history and the Canadians were fighting in Caen at that time. And I was at as I said, Armoured corps that at this stage they were low on infantry men and we found our self being re-badged overnight. So instead of being Armoured Corps, now we were infantry and sent to... the units that were already affected by the fighting. And in my case it was the Royal Regiment of Canada which is a Toronto Regiment and they were, God they were pretty low when I joined them because, when I joined them my... what a section that takes seven men was down to four and I found myself being a section commander right away because I had a little bit more training than the average recruit, you see, and that’s the way they judge it.
