Transcription
In Trinidad, during my high school years we had two things, we had scouts and cadets, army cadets. I belonged to both. And in the scouts, we had air scouts, this was started. We had the Fleet Air Arm had a naval training station in Trinidad. And those were the chaps that used to come and tutor us, you know the Brits. So they taught us aviation and then I got from army cadets, I got the army side of the deal. So that when I came to Canada and I joined the University Reserve Training Plan and they sent us to St. Jean to College Militaire I really loved it. I enjoyed everything that was thrown at me. I like the drill, the discipline, you know, and meeting other students from all over Canada.
