Description
Mr. Tarling recalls the consistency in care by the nurses in getting him to walk.
Transcription
The nurses would walk me and walk me and each day they would walk me and they were told to walk me and eventually they took me outside and walked me down to the bar. I was never a beer drinker, I'd have a gin and tonic. And the nurses, that one bar the nurses went there and they knew everybody in there. They made sure everyday, they'd take me and walk me further. So eventually I was by myself, I'd walk down there. And everyone on that East Grinstead was a wonderful place.
