Description
Mr. McAuley talks about the food they had at the prison camp.
Transcription
The food was about the same. They had rice. We had possibly a little bit more rice, I think we had maybe a bigger bowl of rice and we did get some fish once in a while and we'd get water buffalo meat once in a while. You know what water buffalo, they used them to plow the fields. And well, you chewed it all in and spit it out, at least you got some good out of it because you couldn't chew, you couldn't eat it. But it was, I'd say slightly better, just a little bit more, maybe greens and kelp and stuff like that, yes.
