Going over there, we were more or less under the impression that we would be on the camp and that would be the end of it. We would just do our regular supply duties - receiving of shipments coming in from Canada and issuing them out to the units that were on camp. I never thought that I would even have to think about combat. That’s what we had, the infanteers were there and that was the role that they played. Even though the military it’s soldier first, you kind of get out of that mentality when you’re not constantly training to be a soldier. When your training is going elsewhere into, you know, building warehouses and how to stock your supplies properly and definitely not being a soldier.
