Born in Glasgow Scotland to Hannah & David Wood on Feb. 23rd 1898. He emmigrated to Canada in the early 1900's. Edward enlisted into the R.A.F. in Canada in July of 1917 serviving as an Air Mechanic on the training bases in the Vancouver B.C. area. He died on Sept. 26th 1919 at the age of 21. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View Cemetery of Vancouver BC.
