Ronald Anderson

Mr. Anderson is a retired Canadian Forces Veteran. He is an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion who has served in every executive capacity his branch has to offer and is currently the President of Branch #4. Under Mr. Anderson’s guidance, his branch’s Poppy Campaign Committee has raised an average of $40,000 per year since 1997. He has been on the Legion’s Memorial Housing Foundation and has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the St. James Legion Lodge. Mr. Anderson has volunteered at the Legion’s Athletic Camp since 2002 and was head chaperone of the provincial team at the National Track and Field Championships in 2004. Mr. Anderson is heavily involved with ceremonies and activities in his community, including the annual Remembrance Day ceremonies at Linwood School and Bruce Park. Mr. Anderson has been on the Board of Directors of the International Peace Garden and has served as president of the Canadian Foundation for the International Peace Garden. For the last year, he has been a board member of the Deer Lodge Centre Foundation.
