Your first step
If you are interested in applying for jobs in the federal public service, the first step is to create an account at GC Jobs. If you want to see the internal jobs, you will need your Service Number and/or your Priority Reference Number (PRN) to complete your registration.
After you have registered
Log in to your account and then search for jobs. To make your job search easier you can:
- Review the GC Jobs site daily to ensure you do not miss any opportunities.
- Sign up for email alerts.
- Use the “Refine search” column on the left to narrow your job search.
- Save a search, and
- Read each job advertisement to see if you meet the qualifications for the job.
