Monument site
The National Monument to Canada’s Mission in Afghanistan will be located on LeBreton Flats in Ottawa, the traditional territory of the Algonquin Anishnaabeg People.
The LeBreton Flats site is located in Ottawa across the street from the Canadian War Museum on the east side of Booth Street, north of the National Holocaust Monument. The site will provide easy access and high visibility to the monument for both vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
