Son of Roy, predeceased by his mother in 1937. A news article from Saskatoon read, 'Native Saskatonian, one of a number of boys who, fours years ago, walked out to the aerodrome summer and winter for instruction of the mechanics of airplane engines, Earle D. Godfrey lost his life in a flying accident in Scotland on September 4. Two years ago, he became Flight Lieutenant with Squadron 233 G.R. Armed with a mechanic's certificate from the Saskatoon Flying Club, he made his way to England by cattle boat to join the Royal Air Force."

LEUCHARS CEMETERY Argyllshire, United Kingdom

Leuchars Cemetery lies to the north of the village of Leuchars, close to the main road to Dundee. From the Dundee direction take the A919 and turn right just before the start of the village, following signs to the cemetery and the golf course. The cemetery and golf course are on the other side of the railway line which is crossed by a narrow bridge. The cemetery is at the end of the road, with parking available adjacent to the golf course.
