Served during the Second World War from 26 March 1943 to 30 September 1946 in Canada, the United Kingdom and on the High Seas on Sea-Going Ships of War, (Atlantic Zone). He also served with the permanent force from 1 October 1946 until his death. Also served under service numbers V-57379 and N-50016.
