Son of Edith P. Woollatt, of "Beauvais," Ditton Hill, Surbiton, Surrey, and the late Randal Woollatt.
Brother of Captain Claud Woollatt, who went missing in action on August 21, 1916, while serving with The Queen's (Royal West Surrey Regiment).
Second Lieutenant Philip Reginald Woollatt was educated at Cheltenham College, and enlisted in 79th Cameron Highlanders of Canada at Winnipeg, August of 1914.
