  • Grave Marker– Photo courtesy of Frans van Cappellen, The NetherlandsWhitley aircraft Z9306 was one of three No.77 Sqdn Whitleys lost on this operation. The crew were airborne 1653 27Dec41 from Leeming and shot down by a night-fighter causing them to crash and 1957 at Zwarte Haan (Friesland), 16 km NW of Leeuwarden, Holland. F/Sgt Ozment and three RAF crew members were killed. RCAF Sgt D.M.Godard survived and was taken PoW.
