Lesges is a village 16 kilometres south-east of Soissons and about 5 kilometres south of Braine a small town on the road from Soissons to Reims. The war graves lie in the south-east part of the LESGES CHURCHYARD near the southern boundary.

Served at Parkhill and Caledonia, Ont., and Toronto city branches. Enlisted 16th May, 1942, from Yonge & Gould (Toronto) in R.C.A.F. Pilot Officer in May, 1943; Flying Officer in December, 1943. Trained at Toronto, Fingal, Ont., and St. Johns, Que. Served at Halifax. Overseas in June, 1943. Killed in action in France 29th June, 1944. From a memorial booklet prepared by the Canadian Bank of Commerce.
