Flight Sergeant Tame (Instructor - RCAF R/166793), Pilot Officer Sutton (Pilot - RAF 195512) and Leading Aircraftman Vidler (Student - RAAF 118598) were killed when RCAF Anson 8627 from 15 SFTS at Claresholm collided with a ferry cable suspended 25 feet above the ice near Bassano, Alberta during a low level navigational exercise
