Son of John Mary Marshall of Spruce Lake, New Brunswick. Husband of Margaret Alma Marshall. Father of Hazel Isabelle and Stella Gertrude, of Saint John, New Brunswick. Brother of Mrs. Arthur Caboell, Mrs. Alexander McEachern, Frank, Mike and Hawthorne. He served in the Militia, Royal Canadian Regiment in 1919-1920. He was employed as carpenter prior to joining the service.
