  • Newspaper Clipping– From the Toronto Star. Submitted for the project, Operation: Picture Me
  • Newspaper Clipping– Two news articles announcing the death of Lt. William Frederick Nelson Sharpe, who served with the Royal Flying Corps.
  • Newspaper Clipping– This report of the inquest into the death of Lieutenant Sharpe appeared (at page 118) in the February 12, 1915 issue of Flight, the journal of the Royal Aero Club of the United Kingdom. It would be arguably unfair to put much weight on the statement that the accident was "apparently" due to the deceased's overconfidence, especially without knowing the details of the evidence on this point and from whom it came.
