Son of Thomas and Kathleen Pearl (née McHugh) Dall of Belleville, Ontario. Brother of Donald Joseph, Norman Thomas, John Bernard, Robert James, Gerald Michael, Wayne Francis, Mary Lorraine and Barbara Joan. Husband of Bernice Margaret (née Ryan) Dall, Port Wallis, Nova Scotia. Father of Mary Kathleen and Wilma Patrick. Lt. Dall enrolled on 23 August 1954 at HMCS Cataraqui in Kingston, Ontario. His civilian employment had been as a furniture salesman. He played semi-professional baseball for one year, and enjoyed playing hockey, football, and volleyball.
