Son of Aubrey and Hilda Woodham of Moorefield, Ontario. Husband of Carolyn Constance Agnes (nee Safruik) Woodham and father of Alan, Leeanne and Carol Woodham of Frankford, Ontario. on 1 December 1964 enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a steward, and on 1 October 1973 re-mustered to the trade of Traffic Technician. Allan completed his Traffic Technician Qualification Level Three Course on 22 May, 1974 and graduated as the outstanding student on his Qualification Level Five A Course on 2 April 1975. He was married to Carol Safriuk on 18 May 1968 at Canadian Forces Base Portage La Prairie, MB. Allan qualified as a CC130 Loadmaster on 9 April 1979 and was posted to 436 Transport Squadron, CFB Trenton, Ontario on 10 April 1979. The M/Cpl A.C. Allan Woodham Memorial Award is presented to the outstanding student on the Qualification Level Six A Traffic Technician Course.
