Why are these men and women respected with such great
admiration? Would you risk your life as a teenager to help
someone in a troubled land? On this trip to the Netherlands,
these young people have met with some many fascinating people
and seen so many incredible things. Some have even felt that
there were times when the whole adventure seemed just like a
dream. But they realized that war was something terrible, not
just an animated image on a video game or a Hollywood hero who
never loses a fight. This war was real.
Description
Follow ten young Canadians as they travel with Canadian Veterans to the Netherlands and witness how they are revered and respected by the Dutch people for liberating their country from German occupation during the closing days of the Second World War.
