BUCQUOY ROAD CEMETERY is situated on the D919 heading south from Arras to Ayette. The Cemetery is on the right hand side of the road, 9 kilometres from Arras, just before a crossroads with the D36 between Ficheux and Boisleux-au-Mont.

  • Photo of Albert Torr– Alber Torr was born in Derby, but later lived in Oldham, UK. Extract from the Oldham Chronicle dated October 8th 1918: 'Private Alber Torr, Canadian Infantry, died of gunshot wounds on September 29. He had been back in France only three weeks after being wounded and gassed in October,1917. He was 27 years of age, and emigrated to Canada six years ago, joining the Candian Infantry on February 8 1916. His mother, who lives at 77 Marlborough Street, Oldham has had four other sons serving. Three have been wounded, George is discharged, Fred is in hospital in France, shot in the knee, Jack was admitted to Cottingham Road Hospital, Hull, severely wounded for a second time on September 26 1918, and Frank is in a Labour Company in France.'
