Dely Ibrahim War Cemetery

Canadian Embassy delegation – On November 11th, 2002 a Canadian Embassy delegation attended the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Dely Ibrahim Cemetery in Algiers, Algeria. Officials of Commonwealth country embassies with representation in Algiers, as well as the American Embassy, laid wreaths at the cenotaph at the cemetery. The ceremony was organised by the British Embassy. At the end of the ceremony, the German Ambassador invited all participants to join him in a short solemn ceremony and wreath laying at the German cenotaph, adjacent to the Commonwealth cemetery.
