The original pictures were supplied by the Sydney Post-Record and the booklet was compiled by Jack Wilcox, class of 1946 and Donald Trivett, class of 1947.

F/Sgt. Martin J. P. O'Brien, age 22, was killed on May 29, 1942, at 32 OTU, Patricia Bay, B.C., when Beaufort N 1026, developed engine problems and crashed into the sea. The aircraft disintegrated and sank. There were no survivors. F/Sgt. O'Brien is buried in St. Theresa's Cemetery, in Sydney.
