  • Grave Marker– This is Arthur's headstone in Burton-on-Trent Cemetery.  He is buried with his parents, John & Elizabeth Brown.  He was a Porter by occupation.  At the time of his enlistment he was in the Active Militia with the 9th Mississanga Horse and had previously served 7 years with the 19th Hussars.  He enlisted on 26th July 1915 in Toronto.  Interestingly, he understated his actual age by 3 years!

  • Roll of Honour– Arthur's name commemorated on the Roll of Honour in the Town Hall, Burton-on-Trent
